In 2009, fueled by a lifelong passion and a deep-rooted family connection to the sport, Mike burst onto the scene, earning his Top Fuel license at the Texas Motorplex. This marked the beginning of an electrifying journey, transitioning from the adrenaline-soaked tracks of the Nostalgia Eliminator 1 and 7.0 Pro Class, where he honed his skills from 2001 to 2009.

In 2011, Mike made his thunderous entry into the professional realm of NHRA Top Fuel, showcasing a blend of raw talent and unwavering determination. Fast forward to 2021, a decade later, he expanded his horizons by venturing into the Pro Mod category in the NHRA E3 Spark Plugs Series, demonstrating his versatility and ever-evolving mastery of the track.
